Our affiliation application to the Australian College of Theology (ACT) has been approved. We will become one of its affiliated colleges in 2020. As such, we are going to offer the Certificate in Theology course awarded by ACT in 2020, and we will no longer offer CTCA Associate Licenciate in Theology and Certificate in Theology under our TEE Program from 31 December 2021.
In order to help our existing TEE students to complete the program, there will be special arrangement during 2020 to 2021. However, since students are required to complete the program within 6 years the most, the special arrangement applies to accredited students who enrolled from 2013 to 2019 only.
ACT Certificate in Theology
We will offer ACT Certificate in Theology from 2020. This two-year part-time certificate course is intended to further the education of adults in relation to Christian faith and life. Its aim is to stimulate the interest of alert and enquiring minds. What is required is not so much academic scholarship as an understanding of Christian theology and its implication for contemporary life. Students are required to complete 6 subjects within 2 to 4 years. Units in this course are completed at certificate level. For more details, please click here.
To encourage students to further their study, CTCA students who enrol 2020 subjects of ACT Certificate in Theology as accredited students will receive 10% subsidies for 2020 tuition fee from college.
Students can choose to follow the special arrangement to complete the TEE program or to apply for the ACT Certificate in Theology. For any queries, please contact us (Tel. 9715 2992 or email ctca@ctca.edu.au)。
